Logan's Birthday

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY LOGAN!!!
Logan turned 2 on July 19! He is such a fun little boy! So active and FULL of energy! We had such a fun day celebrating his birthday. He opened presents in the morning...a Thomas train set, a remote control truck, a bubble machine, some books, and a toy fishing pole. We then drove to Boulder City to ride a real Union Pacific train! Logan loves trains, so we thought he would love to see and ride on a real life train. He was way excited to see the train, a little nervous to get on by himself, but enjoyed the ride. After the 45 minute train ride, we walked around the train and a small railroad museum next to the train station. The trains breaks decompressed right as we were walking past it and Logan let out a blood curdling scream and ran to Jason. He was petrified! So, the train idea maybe wasn't the greatest idea, but it was still fun! Next, we grabbed lunch and had a picnic at a park in Boulder. We ate and the kids were able to play on a few of the playground toys, only those that had a shade covering over them. Luckily we were able to grab a little bit of shade that took the edge off the 100 degree weather a tiny bit! Then, after dinner and a long nap it was cake and ice cream time. His cake was cupcakes formed into a big Elmo face. The frosting resembled his red furry face...Super Cute! Logan loves Elmo-so he loved his cake. We hope he had a wonderful day! We had a great time celebrating him and remembering the special day he joined our family. We love you Logi!
